| Voice Modulator Sent To Russia |
Drexey Smith, volunteer Physical Therapist at the Free Clinic, is treating an emigrant from Russia. During the course of
throat cancer. Having lost the ability to verbally communicate with his family, especially his very young grandchildren,
threw him into a deep depression. His physician, in Russia, told him that he would be able to communicate with a
voice modulator, and the best ones were in the United States, costing anywhere from $600 - $1500. Unfortunately the
gentleman did not have the money to purchase one, which made him even more depressed. Upon hearing this story
Drexey walked to the cabinet in her treatment room, took out a brand new voice modulator that had been unused for
years, handed it to her patient and told him to ship it to his friend's friend.
After receiving the voice modulator and trying it, the gentleman called his friend in the United States and very excitedly
told him that he had given him back his life; that the voice modulator had totally changed everything for him and now he
could talk to his very young grandchildren.
