VOLUNTEER
There are many volunteer opportunities at the Free Clinic. We welcome
individuals or groups that wish to volunteer on a regular basis as well as
businesses, school, or church groups that may want to volunteer for a one-time
special project.

We often say, "There is a place for everyone at the Free Clinic, those in need of
care and those who care."

To find out about volunteer opportunities, scroll down to see specific areas of
interest.  If you would like to read more about each program, click on the program
name. You can submit a volunteer application directly from this page, or contact
the Director of Volunteers and Special Events.

Volunteer Orientation Sessions are held twice a month:
  • On the second Tuesday of the month, the session is held at 10:00AM.
  • On the third Tuesday of the month, the session is held at 3:30PM.

The orientation session is an opportunity to learn more about the Free Clinic
organization and to hear about current volunteer openings. After attending a
session, a volunteer makes a decision about a specific role to fill.

Projects for groups have included painting, sorting food, organizing donated
medical materials, cleaning, cooking, landscape improvements, packing holiday
packages, working at events. Businesses, churches or school groups wishing
specific projects sometimes also complete work off site.
