| Welcome To New Board Members |
At the September Board Meeting, outgoing Board
Members Jim Annarelli, Norm Bungard, Jean
Markley, and Chitra Ravindra were thanked by
ougoing Chairman of the Board, Jim Thompson, Jr.
Many thanks were delivered to members for their
generosity, wisdom, and commitment.
Members may serve two three-year terms before
by-laws require new membership. The dedication of
outgoing and continuing Board Members is
essential to the success of the Free Clinic.
New members elected to the Board of Directors
include Michael Bice, an adjunct professor for the
University of Florida, James E. Flynn, Jr., an attorney
for the State Attorney's Office Sixth Judicial District,
Roland Metivier, President and CEO of Edward
White Hospital, and Norm Smith, Associate Dean
and Director of the Center for the Applied Liberal Arts
at Eckerd College.
Former officer and Board Member Mary Wyatt Allen
is returning to the Board this year.
New officers for the year are Beth Houghton, Chair,
Elise Minkoff, Vice-Chair, Al May, Treasurer, and
Marylou Bourdow, Secretary.
