| Recognizing the Importance of Dignity |
Wayne Hoover has volunteered for 9 years at St. Petersburg Free
returned to the area again, resumed his volunteer work. Wayne works
in We Help Services as an interviewer. Wayne has heard a lot of
stories about people's lives. Wayne makes sure that the people he
interviews receive all the help we can provide and also refers them to
other agencies when appropriate.
Wayne certainly understands the importance of what we offer people in
the way of medical care, food, referral service, and education, but in his
words, "The most important thing we have to offer is dignity, and I think
that sets us apart as a social service agency."
Thank you Wayne for your dedication and kindness that you have been
so willing to share for over 9 years.
