| Food Drives Help Stock the Food Bank |
As expected, the days right before Thanksgiving were busy - the Free Clinic was
October, cupboards were bare; many generous individuals, organizations and
businesses helped restock our shelves.
Most of the donated food had to be picked up by the Food Bank. The Food Bank
staff was out every day completing the normally scheduled pick ups; the added
food drives required the use of volunteers to pick up much needed food.
Three volunteers who helped pick up the additional donations are Don
Brownstone, Paul Hargrett, and Chris Shayn. They will continue to pick up food
throughout the remainder of the holiday season. Thank you Don, Paul, and Chris
