| 4:00 PM - Many Moods of Christmas Concert at First Presbyterian Church - 701 Beach Drive NE, St. Petersburg The Many Moods of Christmas concert has become a treasured holiday tradition at First Presbyterian Church. As in the past, this family concert is free, but will include a free-will offering to support the St. Petersburg Free Clinic. In past years this offering has provided a major contribution for this wonderful outreach to those of our community in need, and in these economic times the services the Clinic provides are even more valuable. This year’s concert will feature a variety of exciting Christmas music performed by the Chancel Choir, the Chancel Handbell Ringers, Joyful Noise and Spirit Song Children’s Choirs, an orchestra of players drawn from The Florida Orchestra, organist Jack Rain, and music director Tom Lippert. Selections to be performed include Antonio Vivaldi’s ever- popular Gloria, along with several songs of the season: Once in Royal David’s City, Sing We Now of Christmas, Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day, and Betelehemu. There will be lots of carols and enough Christmas cheer for everyone. The Many Moods of Christmas concert is always a memorable holiday experience, and you won’t want to miss it! | 7:00 PM SATURDAY AND SUNDAY - First Baptist Church Christmas Concert - 1900 Gandy Blvd., St. Petersburg Proceeds from this event will go toward improvements at Beacon House, a shelter for homeless men who need temporary housing while becoming self-supporting. |
| December 21 |
| 4:30 PM - Christmas Dinner at Beacon House - 2151 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg - for anyone in the community who is hungry. |
| We Help Services Christmas Basket distribution - 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Pre-registration is required. |
